Commissioning

  First install the system completely, than connect it to the mains voltage! 



  V1 and V2 must not be connected with the P-, a- or b-wire.  



  When connecting the video wires V1 (+) and V2 (

−) the polarity must be observed. If 

you see a distorted picture after the commissioning, switch off the device and ex-
change the wires for the video signal. 



  Ensure that the SD card is plugged accordingly to the marking on the type label in the 

SD slot. The SD card is necessary for the storage of all configuration data and images. 
The card must always be in the device.

For a safe functionality, only the enclosed SD card is to be used.  
The SD card can be ordered as spare part directly at TCS (see 

Spare parts,

 acces-

sory, page 26). 



  Switch on the mains voltage, the Video Streamer starts automatically. The LED indica-

tion (green) blinks for around 10 seconds and shines. The device is now ready for oper-
ation. 

Error detection and indication 

Errors when connecting the cables are signaled by flashing of the LED indication (red or 
yellow). The optical error indication stays active until the error is corrected.
