On the contrary, if you have this switch in the “OFF” position and attempt to connect the turntable’s RCA
connectors to the line input levels of a receiver or amplifier such as “Tape” or “VCR”, you will find that the
level is insufficient and will not allow you to hear the output sufficiently. Under no circumstances do we
recommend switching the preamplifier “ON/OFF” switch while monitoring the output with an amplifier. To
be safe, select the appropriate switch position with the power off on the amplifier or receiver. The PRE-AMP
switch position will not affect users of the USB function.
7b. Slide the PRE-AMP ON/OFF switch on the rear of the
unit to the ON position.
8b. Insert the small end of the AC adapter into the Power
jack (located on the rear of the unit). Connect the
other end to a wall outlet having 120V AC, 60 Hz.
NOTES:
•
Remove both the DC plug and the AC IN plug to
disconnect the AC adapter when not in use.
•
Only use the supplied AC adapter which has the following specs: DC 12V.
•
After connecting, set the external unit to receive the signal from its Line In jacks.
