ATTENTION!
Place the double foot pedal on the floor only. The double foot pedal must be
movable, so that the operator has the possibility to change his position for
ergonomic and production needs. Do not lay the double foot pedal in aisle ways.
Assure free access to the operating elements of the machine, especially the double
foot pedal, the release button and the main control switch. Place the tubes and
cables on the floor so that they do not cause a trip hazard.
10.1
Operation of the Double Foot Pedal
The left foot pedal opens and closes the upper die
holder.
The right foot pedal activates the actual crimping
cycle.
10.2
Production
1. Press and hold left foot pedal, position and hold
the terminal in the crimping die.
2. Let go of the left foot pedal and the die closes
on to the terminal. The pre-crimp speed can be
adjusted with the throttle marked
“Pre-Load
Speed”
(Fig.10.02).
3. Press the right foot pedal momentarily and the
crimp cycle is being completed.
