Cable Tunnel
This feature of the machine ensures the cable is centered in the grippers during the cycle and directs the
end of the cable to the cable sensor. It consists of left and right portions to direct the cable end fully (see
Figure 18).

Scrap Bin
The machine has an integral vacuum that draws the process refuse (insulation, foil, braid) into a
removeable scrap bin (see Figure 19). During routine processing, the scrap bin must be removed and
emptied often enough to prevent being over-filled and/or creating any blockage of the vacuum track
–
an
action dependant on wire size, strip length, and number of cables processed.
