High Speed Recording Guidelines (Enabling DMA)
To optimize your drive performance and avoid system lockup conflicts, especially
when recording to CD-R disc at 12X speed, you need to exercise the following
options to enable DMA on your system.
Windows 2000
To enable DMA on your Windows 2000 system:
1.
Right-click
My Computer
and select
Properties

Hardware

Device Manager

IDE/ATA/ATAPI Controllers

Secondary Controller Properties

Advanced Settings
