6. Setting up the Drive
6.9 Driver installation under Windows XP
The USB device drive is included in Windows XP. When this drive is
connected, Windows XP will automatically install the appropriate driver
and the drive will be ready to be used. You do not have to perform any
special installation or uninstallation. You can confirm that the drive has
been recognized after connection by using Device Manager.
You should see the following entries:
“USB Mass-Storage Device” at “Universal Serial Bus controllers”
"TEAC CD-W224EA USB Device" at "DVD/CD-ROM drives" for the
TEAC CD-W224PUK unit
resp.
"TEAC DW-224E USB Device" at "DVD/CD-ROM drives" for the TEAC
DW-224PUK unit.
