Finalise
Finalise(DVD+R, DVD-R, DVD+RW, DVD-RW)
Finalising ‘fixes’ the recordings in place so that the disc
can be played on a regular DVD player or computer
equipped with a suitable DVD-ROM drive.
Once you’ve finalised a disc recording, you can’t edit or
record anything else on that disc. You can record and
edit on this recorder after unfinalising.
Finalise a disc by selecting Finalise in the SETUP
option.
From the SETUP menu, select "DISC Setup" then
press the

or the ENTER.
Use the

buttons to select "Finalise".
Note:

It takes several minutes to finalise according to
amount of the recording data and a kind of DVD
media.
<
Finalising discs recorded for very short time(very
small size data) may take more time than discs
recorded fully. (Possibly more than 1 hour: this does
not indicate a problem with the unit.)
Unfinalise(DVD-RW/+RW)
You can record and edit on this recorder after unfinal-
ising (RW discs only). You need to do this if you want to
record more material or edit material already on the
disc.
From the SETUP menu, select DISC Setup then
press the

or the ENTER.
Use the
