Q. How do I get System Information about my product?
A. Press the MENU key, select MY PLAYER -> HELP -> DIAGNOSTICS -> MY
PLAYER. For further details, go to the Internet page (channel 954) and
enter a web address as about: [OK]
Q. Does the digital player support parental control of programs?
A. YES. The parental code can be set to block certain programs. It does
NOT however block content available from the Internet. Arrange this with
your Internet Service Provider. You can block the Internet channel for
complete access.
Q. When I select english5.1 sound, my amplifier will swicth to Dolby 5.1,
but sound is not available in all speakers. Why?
A. The broadcaster is describing 5.1 to be available within their
transmission, but sound encoded may not actually be in Dolby 5.1. Check
program guides for special screening that include 5.1 digital sound.
Q. When I am connected to the Internet, after 5 minutes I am
disconnected. Why?
A. Your telephone settings have been set to disconnect after this time.
Press the [MENU] key, go to Setup and Telephone Settings. There you can
increase this time.
Q. My player starts, and welcome message appears. A moment later the
player screen goes black. What can I do?
A. Press the STANDBY key on the remote to reactivate the player. If this
fails, then you must do the factory_reset procedure (see page 6). In doing
so, all information will be lost.
