Listening to an External Source

Connect the output jack of your audio device (ex: the
PHONES jack of a portable audio player) to the AUX IN
jack of the MC-DX40DAB using the commercially available
stereo mini plug cable.

Press the FUNCTION button to select “AUX”.

Play the source, and adjust the volume using the VOLUME
buttons of the MC-DX40DAB and the audio device.
When using the PHONES jack of your player, you must adjust the
volume of the player or you may hear no sound from your MC-
DX40DAB.
