13. MISC settings
13-1. LCD
Backlight dimming
Set the time until the backlight turns off automati-
cally if no buttons are used.
None:
The backlight will always stay lit.
1 minute:
The backlight will turn off after 1 minute
without operation.
5 minutes: The backlight will turn off after 5 min-
utes without operation.
30 minutes: The backlight will turn off after 30 min-
utes without operation.

When the backlight is off, touch the touchscreen
or press any button to turn it on. When the back-
light is off, the touchscreen and the unit buttons
function as backlight activation buttons. For exam-
ple, pressing the play (
7
FWD) button when the
backlight is off will turn the backlight on but will
not start playback.
Brightness
Adjust the display brightness.

(date and time settings)
Set date and time
Set the date and time of the internal clock.
Display
Set the time display format.

Current time
Touch this button to set the date and time of the
internal clock to the current time.
Next 00 Sec
Touch this button to apply the set date and time
when the minute changes according to the current
setting of the internal clock.
