IMPORTANT INFORMATION
This appliance is not intended for professional use.
You should follow the requested breaks : after 3 min of non-stop use, make a 3 min break.
Failure to follow this instruction carefully may result in damage to the motor or the
appliance.
BEFORE USE
For a safe use, your appliance is fitted with a food carriage (6) and a pusher with a built-in
thumb guard (7) to protect your hands.
•
Place the appliance on a flat and dry surface.
•
Unfold the platform(9).Place the pusher (7) on the food carriage(6).
•
Insert the food carriage (6) in the foldable plate (9).
•
Move the food carriage (6) back and forth a few times to ensure proper
movement.
•
Select the required slice thickness by turning the lever (10) : clockwise for thicker
slices or counter clockwise for thinner slices.
•
Place the food on the food carriage, and press it lightly against the thickness
guide(5) using the pusher (7).
USE
The person using the appliance should operate the buttons with the left hand and the food
pusher only with the right hand.
•
Press and hold the safety button(3), and then the on/off switch (2) to start.
•
Move the food carriage back and forth to slice the food.
•
Always keep your right hand’s fingers on the pusher (behind the thumb guard).
•
When finished, release the on/off button and then the safety button.
TIPS
•
To slice meats wafer thin, let chill for 2-4 hours in fridge before slicing.
•
Before slicing warm boneless roasts, let set out of the oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
•
The appliance can also cut vegetables like carrots, beets, yams, parsnip or
potatoes into thin slices to cook chips.
CLEANING
•
The appliance has to be unplugged from the power supply before cleaning.
•
Wipe the back and the front parts of the appliance with a paper towel or a soft cloth.
•
Do not clean with any abrasive scouring pad or steel wool.
•
Never place in the dishwasher.
•
Do not immerse in water or any other liquid.
•
Store the appliance only when completely dry.
