The potation warmer has an integrated overheating protection, that turns off the
complete unit, if you are using the unit by mistake without any liquid inside the tank.
•
In this case, please turn the temperature switch towards position „°C“ and put the on
-off
switch in posi
tion “0”.
•
Allow the unit to cool down.
•
On the bottom of the unit you will find the overheating protection button (11). Please push
this button in order to reset the unit into normal function. If the unit would not work after
this procedure, please contact our customer service.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
•
Before attempting any cleaning operation, make sure the appliance is unplugged from
the supply socket and fully cooled down.
•
To clean the exterior surfaces, simply wipe over with a soft damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
To remove scale from the inner walls of the kettle you can use a soft brush.
•
Never use abrasive products.
•
On no account must the jug kettle or its power base be immersed in water.
DESCALING
When scale becomes visible in the appliance, you have to descale it. To remove scale from
the kettle, use products made especially available for this purpose, liquid descaling products or
for the sake of environmental protection you can use vinegar.
When descaling, please pay attention to the following points:
•
First pour some water into the appliance, and add the descaling product afterwards.
•
Make sure to dilute the product sufficiently. Please follow the instruction manual of the
descaling product.
•
When using vinegar, do not use more than 2-3 ml.
•
Caution, the mixture might froth during heating.
•
After descaling, rinse the appliance twice with fresh water.

In order to preserve our environment and protect human health, the waste electrical and
electronic equipment should be disposed of in accordance with specific rules with the
implication of both suppliers and users. For this reason, as indicated by the symbol
on the
rating label or on the packaging, your appliance should not be disposed of as unsorted
municipal waste. The user has the right to bring it to a municipal collection point performing
waste recovery by means of reuse, recycling or use for other applications in accordance with
the directive.
