and folded in order to obtain a booklet A5 (+/- 148.5 mm
width x 210 mm height). When folding, make sure you
keep the good numbering when you turn the pages of
the I/B. Don’t change the page numbering. Keep the
language integrity.

We recommend that when using your product you operate the motor unit in short on/off
pulses. This will give better chopping, mixing, etc. It will also protect the motor against a
too long use. Please refer to the information at the end of this instruction booklet for recipe
information and operating guidelines.
The chopper is designed to be used exclusively in its delivery state (bowl, lid and blades in
good state) because it gives all the needed securities. Do not try to substitute one of those
pieces by another one and if you have to replace one, contact your after sales service.

person who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to
avoid all danger. In any case you should return the appliance to this electrician.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
This appliance is not intended for long-lasting use. You should never exceed the maximum
operating time indicated in the table below (see page 8). Failure to follow this instruction
carefully may result in damage to the motor. Please insert operation breaks regularly. The
breaks should last at least 10 minutes.
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
•
Remove all packaging, and check that no parts are damaged or missing.
•
Read these instructions carefully!
•
Wash the bowl, lid and chopper blade in warm soapy water and dry thoroughly.
•
Wipe the motor unit of the chopper with a damp cloth.
IMPORTANT GUIDELINES
•
Never chop foods warmer than 50°C or pour liquids or juicy foods in the bowl.
•
To avoid damaging the blade, never chop foodstuffs that are too hard (nutmeg, dried
peas and beans, corn, meat with bones, sugar, ice, coffee etc.)
•
Never fill the bowl completely.
•
To prevent the appliance from overheating, never exceed the advised doses and time,
stated in the table below. At the end of each operation, let the appliance cool down for
at least 10 minutes.
•
When chopping larger amounts, make a break at several intervals (see section
“IMPORTANT INFORMATION”).
•
Wait until the blade has come to a standstill before opening the lid.
•
Clean all parts that come in contact with food thoroughly after each operation. To do so,
follow the advice in the cleaning section below.
•
The blade is very sharp, handle it with care.
•
Do not put the bowl in the microwave oven.
•
Never immerse the motor block in water or any other liquid.
OPERATION
•
Put the bowl on the motor block and the blade on the central shaft, making sure that it is
fixed correctly.
•
Put the food cut into small pieces in the bowl.
•
Put the lid on the bowl.
•
Plug in the appliance.
•
Switch on the appliance by pressing the lid down in short intervals with the palm of your
hand.
