4.3 Adjusting the height of the harness
Make sure that the height of the shoulder straps is adjusted to suit your child: the straps
should be adjusted just slightly above the child’s shoulders (the correct adjustment is
indicated above).
The height of the harness for this product is adjusted by moving the headrest. Adjust the
height of the headrest in order to adjust the harness to the appropriate height.
4.4 Buckling the harness
Step 1: Gather the ends of the shoulder
straps.
Step 2: Insert them into the buckle, you should hear them click into place. Check that the
harness is properly fastened in the buckle.
Step 3: To unfasten the harness, press the red button in the middle of the buckle.
4.5 Adjusting the harness
1. Tightening the harness:
Pull the harness adjuster strap until the harness is tight enough. Tighten the harness as
much as possible without causing discomfort to the child. The lap belt is as low as
possible and should be closer to the crotch rather than the abdomen.
A badly adjusted harness can be dangerous for the child. Each time the child is installed
in the child safety seat, buckle the harness then tighten it using the adjuster strap. Make
sure it is properly tightened and that none of the straps are twisted (
