NOTES:
1. The “Transaction Data Capture” (described in Chapter 10) will not be backed up.
2. Neither “RAM Allocation (Submode 79)” nor “Terminal Connection Table (Submode 69)” will be
backed up because each terminal has the same data.
9.2 PROCESS AT CHANGING PROGRAM DATA
1) At receiving DLL Data from PC:
The Master Terminal, on receiving various center files from the PC, automatically performs backup of the
program data and sales data to the Backup Master Terminal.
9. BACKUP DATA CONTROL
9.1 OVERVIEW OF BACKUP FUNCTION
By connecting a Backup Master Terminal (Terminal ID No. 2) to the Master-Satellite System, the Center File in
the Master Terminal will be backed up. Thus, if the Master Terminal becomes down, the Backup Master can
replace the Master function to continue operation. (For further details of the recovery operation, refer to Chapter
8. DOWN RECOVERY in the document of SYSTEM EXPLANATION.)

2) At programming operation on Master Terminal:
When various center files are programmed on the Master Terminal (including Data Clear), the applicable
Backup Error Flag is turned ON. At this moment, however, the backup data update process is not performed.
