Rinse Day
This procedure is used to rinse the liquid system if the instrument is to be left to
stand for up to 2 hours, for longer times use Rinse Night (see Rinse Night on
page 59).
Alternatively, it can be used to rinse the liquid system after the instrument has
been left for a long time.
Distilled water or a wash buffer can be used with this procedure.

Confirm that the rinsing solution and the
tube are in the bottle.
Select and confirm RINSE DAY
procedure.
Select required channel
(1 - 4, depending on instrument configuration)
Confirm that the waste bottle is empty
RINSE DAY
STOP
Press Stop to abort the rinse
procedure.
RINSE DAY
STOP END
END appears on the display when the
procedure is finished. The manifold remains
immersed in the prime tray until End is
pressed. Press END to finish the rinse
procedure and the firmware returns to the
Program menu.
