PLAYING FROM AN iPod
To play music from your iPod
Press the
•
CD/iPod/USB/CARD
button repeatedly until
‘iPod’ is displayed.
You can now operate your iPod from the controls on the front
panel or remote control.
Playback functions:
Press the
•
PLAY/PAUSE/SCAN
button to toggle the iPod
between Play and Pause mode at any time.
Press the
•
}
or
{
button to select the next or previous
track.
Press and
•
hold
the
}
or
{
button to fast search
through a track.
iPod menu functions:
You can also navigate the menu on a docked iPod from the
controls on the front panel or the remote control.
To move up through the iPod menus, press
•
STOP/MENU/
INFO
.
To scroll up and down menu options, press the
•
FOLDER/
ARROW
O
or
P
buttons.
To select menu items, press the
•
SELECT/MONO/ST.
button.
Repeat and random:
You can set the repeat and random modes available on
•
your iPod by pressing the
REPEAT
or
RANDOM
button on
the remote control.
The repeat or random modes set will be displayed on the iPod.
DOCKING AN iPod
DOCKING YOUR iPod
To dock your iPod:
Referring to the diagrams on the previous page -
Press the
•
iPod OPEN/CLOSE
button.
The door will slide open to reveal the iPod dock.
Press the dock tilt lever.
•
The lever will pop out.
Pull the lever to tilt the dock connector forward.
•
Check that the correct iPod adaptor is fitted to the
•
docking bay.
Dock the iPod onto the docking connector.
•
Press the lever to close the dock.
•
Press the
•
iPod OPEN/CLOSE
button to close the door over
the dock.
To remove your iPod from the dock:
Referring to the diagrams on the previous page -
Press the
•
iPod OPEN/CLOSE
button.
The door will slide open to reveal the iPod dock.
Press the dock tilt lever.
•
The lever will pop out.
Pull the lever to tilt the dock connector and iPod
•
forward.
Grip the iPod at the sides.
•
Lift the iPod gently from the dock.
•
Press the lever to close the dock.
•
Press the
•
iPod OPEN/CLOSE
button to close the door over
the dock.
CHARGING AN iPod
When an iPod is docked and the unit is switched on, the iPod
will begin to charge automatically.
NOTE:- The iPod will stop charging if the unit is set to
Standby.
