MAINTENANCE

CLEANING THE LENS

CLEANING THE CABINET

If your CDs jump tracks, skip passages or don’t play properly, this is likely to be
caused by surface damage or dirt on the CD rather than any fault of the unit.

In extreme cases, however, these phenomena could be due to dirt or dust on the

lens. If the CD lens gets dusty or dirty, use a proprietary lens cleaner and follow
the instructions carefully. Alternatively,
Be careful never to scratch the surface of the lens.

If you keep the CD cover closed at all times when the unit is not in use, the lens is

unlikely to get dirty.

Do NOT clean the inside of the CD player with a cloth. Lightly blow out any dust.

clean it with camera lens blower.

Be careful not to scratch the surface of the lens.

From time to time, clean the cabinet with a soft dry cloth. For more stubborn
stains, slightly moisten the cloth with water or a mild detergent solution.
Never use benzene, alcohol or other solvents as they may damage the
finish of the cabinet.
