7.2. DISASSEMBLING THE EPROM

1. Turn off the machine and unplug the mains
lead from the wall outlet.
2. Back off the 4 screws

screwdriver.

To reassemble each EPROM:
1. Place EPROM A on the upper socket and
EPROM B on the lower socket.
2. Insert the EPROM pins into the sockets,
starting from the left hand side so that the
holes of the right-hand socket remain free.
3. Ensure that reference index

on the EPROM
coincides with the reference notch
e
on its
socket.
4. Be careful to center the EPROM pins on the
corresponding holes of the socket.
5. Push the pins into the socket.
The EPROM can be irreversibly
damaged if the reference index on the
EPROM is not correctly aligned with the
notch on the socket, or if its pins are
bent
