ISASSEMBLING THE MAGNET

Carry out the procedure described in paragraph:
7.7.1. “Disassembling the centre guard”.
1.
Back off the screw
(a)
, using a 6mm
hexagonal wrench, look down the nut
(a1)
with a 24mm wrench.

Rotate the primary
(b)
so that the hole of the
aluminium pulley coincides with the fixed
magnet on the frame, as shown in the figure.
3.
Unscrew the magnet
(c)
using a 6mm
wrench, as shown in the figure.
4.
Pull the magnet out through the hole in the
pulley.
Take care not to place metal objects
near the magnet, as it exerts a very
strong force.
To reassemble the magnet,
carry out the above steps in reverse order.
CAUTION: The magnet assembled on
the frame should have the same
polarity as the one on the pulley, so
that they repel each other. In addition,
the distance between the two magnets
should be approximately 2 mm.
