ECHANICS
The mechanical construction of the machine is divided into two distinct sections: one which
manages the movement on the "horizontal" plane (stride movement) and the other on the "vertical"
plane (step movement). These two separate movements are managed jointly during the training.
Each of the two sections is controlled by a brake. In particular, the horizontal movement mechanism
has an electromagnetic brake, while the vertical movement mechanism has a magnetic brake.
The horizontal movement of pedals and levers, make the primary shaft rotates through a system of
belts and pulleys, which transmits the movement to the secondary shaft and from there to the
electromagnetic brake; the vertical movement through some belts reach the magnetic brake.
The speed sensor attached to the frame detects the heads of the screws placed on the copper disk of
the flywheel, which generate a signal proportional to the speed.

On the SP models, the
Speed Sensor
is not present on the machine since the speed is detected on the
VAC generated by the alternator.
