Standard connections - Port 4:
Internal pressure sensor
Pressure input 'P1' - optional internal sensor for the pressure measurement of dry or wet media compatible with stainless
steel, with input pressures in the ranges of 0 - 100m H2O and 0 - 200m H2O (or equivalent) and programmable
resolutions of <0.5% or <0.1%. By convention this is
usually
allocated as the "outlet" / "down stream" pressure and
subject to statistical analysis.
Pressure is applied via a stainless steel manifold with an internal 1/8" BSP female thread (other mating thread options
may be available, contact Technolog for details) - 'flats' (17mm A/F) are provided to allow the pressure connection to be
tightened using a spanner or similar tool.
Each manifold is supplied with a removable 'quick-release coupling' plug (dn 5mm) type pressure fitting, for instance
Camozzi Pneumatics model 5150 or similar, for the attachment of a mating pressure fitting. Additionally an optional,
removable, rotating 'banjo' type fitting, which provides for horizontal attachment of a mating pressure fitting, may also be
supplied.
Warning - Care is to be taken when connecting the sensor to a pressure supply to ensure that it is within the range
stated on the main product label - exceeding the stated pressure range may cause catastrophic damage to the
pressure sensor and, potentially, the Cello 4S itself.
It is also possible to monitor, and record, the temperature of the applied media to an accuracy of ±1°C although this will
use one of the available input channels.
