2.4.4 CAN UP 27 Profile
CAN UP 27
Profile
is set of
PGN
(passport data, counters and settings of
Function modules
of Unit).
It is possible to manage the profiles in both the sensor CAN UP 27 connected and
autonomous mode. The button
with drop down menu is used to choose the
options (see figure 14). Profile can be stored as a file to PC hard drive or loaded into the
memory of the
Unit
. It can be printed as well.

Menu
is divided into the following sections:
1) Load profile
. The following options of profile loading are available in Service CAN UP
software:
Load profile from file — for loading of previously saved profile from the hard drive or
removable disk. It is required to find and choose Profile file in the appeared Open
window (
CAN_UP_*.prf
).
Load profile from Unit — is used for loading profile from the connected CAN UP 27.
Load default profile — is used for loading profile with default factory settings. With
this profile, it is possible to study utility operation without real CAN UP 27
connection. The default file is stored in
CAN_UP_27Standard_default.prf
file, in
the folder of installation file Service_CAN_UP.exe.
ATTENTION:
In autonomous mode only default profile or previously saved profile
is available for loading.
2) Saving profile.
Service CAN UP software has following profile saving options:
Save to file — for saving profile to the hard drive or removable disk. This option is
available only for profile loaded from file or
Unit
.
Select the location and give the name to file according to format
CAN_UP_*.prf
.
Instead
*
entering username is recommended. Prefix
CAN_UP_
and format
.prf
will
be inserted automatically.
Save to unit — is used for saving modified settings into profile of the connected
Unit. It is available only during the time when there an active connection between PC
and CAN UP 27.
