2.4.6 Remote connection to CAN UP 27
Service CAN UP software allows you to remotely connect to
CAN UP 27
over the Internet
without using a cable connection to PC.
IMPORTANT:
1)
PC which will be used for remote connection to CAN UP 27 should have:
- open network port for external connections;
- static IP address on the Internet (provided by your ISP).
2)
To ensure stable operation of in-built communication module of CAN UP 27
during remote configuration, it is necessary to provide:
- sensor supply voltage within its limits - range from 9 to 45 V;
- stable GSM connection to the remote Unit.
For connection to the remote CAN UP 27 make the following steps:
1)
In
Horizontal menu
of Service CAN UP software tick
Remote connection
field and
press
button (see figure 11).
2)
In
Connection settings
window (see figure 15) enter selected network port number of
PC to connect the Unit.

3)
In
Remote connection
window (see figure 16) the format of a
special SMS message
is specified, in which SMS should be sent to mobile number of SIM-card of the Unit. Special
SMS initiates Internet connection for remote connection of CAN UP 27 to a PC.

Maximum waiting time for
Unit
connection is 5 minutes after sending SMS. If during this
time the connection does not occur, a notification about the end of waiting time will appear.
In this case, the attempt of remote connection to the CAN UP 27 should be repeated.
