To read out SPN through CAN / S6 interface, select bus marker (
S6
) and network address of
source Unit, which sends the SPN, from the corresponding drop-down lists (see
1.4.2
).
To add a specific SPN to Report, you can search it by number or name using search bar of
Select SPN/PGN
window. Select
PGN
where the required
SPN
is contained and confirm the
selection by pressing
button. For several SPNs which has the same ID number and are
contained in one PGN, you can find a qualifier in a tooltip by hovering a cursor over the SPN
(see figure 22 b).

WARNING:
you can select SPNs having a digital value and a length of no more than 4
bytes only. If you select SPN that does not meet specified conditions, a corresponding
warning window will appear (see figure 23).
