Setting your password (DVD only)
If you change the rating level to “7” or lower, you must enter a 4-
digit “password” to prevent playback of discs with higher ratings.
At the SETUP screen, press
to select “Pass-
word” and press
.
Input a 4-digit password and press ENTER.
Example : 1234
Do not forget your password.
Input the 4-digit password again and press ENTER
to verify.
Setting is finished.
The rating is locked. Any discs whose rating is higher than the
setting
cannot
be
played
back
unless
the
correct
password is entered.
To change/clear memorized password
At the SETUP screen, press
to select “Pass-
word” and press
.
Input your password and Press ENTER.
To change or clear your password, press
to
select the “Change” or “Clear” and press ENTER.

Follow the step-by-step procedure below if you
forgot or do not know the 4 digit password.

Turn on the SETUP screen

to select and highlight“Pass-
word”

Enter the following 6-digit nomber and
press enter: 210499 ENTER
Note: The #210499 will not appear in the
screen.

Enter a new password following the
instructions in the “setting your pass-
word” section
