When the lever is in the uppermost position, the blades will give you 

the closest cut and leave the hair very short. Pushing the lever downward 
gradually increases the cutting length. 

In its lowest position, the lever will leave the hair approximately the 

same length as a #1 comb. 

The lever will also extend the use of your blades since 

a different cutting edge is used in each setting. 

In addition, if extremely heavy hair cutting has jammed 

the blades, it will help you remove hair that has become 
wedged between the two 

blades without removing the blades. 

While the clipper is running, rapidly move the lever 

from "close cut" to "longer cut" a couple of times. Doing this 
each time after you have finished using your clipper will help 
to keep the blades clear of cut hair. 

If your clipper stops cutting and this does not help, your 

cutting blade are dulled. Replace them with new blades. 

 

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE 

 

Before cleaning switch the device off with the on/off switch. 
Turn the shearing head to the left to loosen it and then pull it out. Pull out the 
shearing blade with caution. Warning: the cutting blade is sharp! DANGER OF 
INJURY! 
Brush the shearing head and clamp in a star-shaped manner. Remove even the 
smallest bits of hair by blowing. 
Mount the shearing head back on the drive shaft of the device and screw it on b 
turning to the right.  
After cleaning insert the cleaning brush back into the holder. 
Push the protection cap back on the shearing head. 
 
Before cleaning switch off the appliance 
Always disconnect the apparatus and to let it cool before cleaning.  
Clean the outside of the apparatus with a sponge or slightly wet linen. 
Never plunge the apparatus in water or all other liquid!  
Do not use abrasive cleaners, gritting, or metal brush or another cutting object.

Always unplug the appliance before any cleaning or maintenance operation and
