1.2 General safety instruction

Before the start of each work shift, the operator must check the effectiveness of the operating
and safety devices as well as the proper fitting of the protective devices. Concrete vibrators may
only be operated with all protective devices in place. The effectiveness of the operating
elements must not be inadmissibly influenced or cancelled.
Before commissioning the units, it is essential to read the associated instructions!

Concrete vibrators may only be operated in accordance with their intended use, taking
into account the operating and maintenance instructions, the generally recognised
safety rules and the country-specific regulations. The concrete vibrator may only be

of concrete is considered as intended use. Any other use of the concrete vibrator is
considered improper and is the sole responsibility of the operator.
1.3 Prerequisite for opertation

Proper and safe operation of the unit requires the following:
- Proper transport, storage, installation.
- Careful operation.
- Careful care and maintenance.

The unit may only be operated for compacting fresh concrete. The vibrating body must be
immersed in the fresh concrete.
1.4 Operational safety
•
Observe the safety and warning instructions on the unit and those in the operating
instructions.
•
Put the unit into operation according to the operating instructions.
•
Familiarise yourself with the working environment before starting work.
This includes, for example, the following points:
- Obstacles in the work and transport sector.
- Load-bearing capacity of the soil.
- Necessary protection of the construction site, especially from public traffic.
- Necessary protection of walls and ceilings.
- Ways to help in case of accidents.
•
Keep the work area clean and well lit.
•
Do not work with the power tool in an explosive environment or near flammable liquids, gases
or dust. Power tools produce sparks that can ignite fumes and dust.
•
Keep bystanders and children away from the work area while working with the power tool.
Distraction could cause you to lose control.
•
Do not expose power tools to rain or damp conditions. Water penetration increases the risk of
electric shock.
•
Never leave a running unit without supervision!
•
Only operate the unit as intended and in technically perfect condition.
