Hint:
•
Compact particularly intensively in the area of the formwork corners, because there the
reinforcement density is greatest
•
Avoid contact of the vibrating body with the reinforcement
If the vibrating body touches the reinforcement, the following damage can occur:
- The bond between the concrete and the reinforcement can be lost.
- The unit may be damaged.
•
The result of the compaction depends on the following points:
- Dwell time of the vibrating body in the concrete.
- Diameter of the vibrating body.
- Consistency of the concrete.
- Reinforcement density.
•
For example, if you use a small diameter vibratory body, you need to compact longer to achieve
the same effect as with a large diameter.
•
Characteristics of when the concrete is sufficiently compacted:
- The concrete no longer settles.
- No or hardly any air bubbles rise.
- The sound of the vibrating body no longer changes.
3.4 Switch off the unit
•
Slowly pull the unit out of the fresh concrete, keep the vibrating body in the air.
•
Switch off the unit with the on/off switch.
•
Wait until the unit has come to a complete stop.
•
Put the unit down slowly.
•
Do not kink the protective hose and connection cable.
•
Pull the plug out of the socket.
