before entering the filter to prevent overpressure or water hammer that could damage or break the
filter. The maximum sustainable pressure of the filter is 8 bar. WARNING: the lack of a pressure
reducing valve will invalidate the warranty if there is a rupture of the filter

It is recommended to install a bypass if necessary (Fig.1)
INSTALLATION:

During the winter, the loca on where filter works must not bring the water to the state of ice, otherwise
empty the filter or remove it from the plant
Ÿ
Use only Teflon between the fi ngs
Ÿ
The filter can be installed both ver cally and horizontally, but the best use is the ver cal installa on.
Ÿ
Before installing the filter make sure that the plumbing has been built according to the regula ons in
own country and workmanlike.

It is recommended to use the wall mount bracket* in order to prevent bending pipes, making sure to
leave adequate space for maintenance of the product.

Use only with water making sure the water has neutral pH - value 7. It is possible to measure the pH of
the water with litmus paper (Fig. 6)*.

It is recommended to replace the cartridges every 3 months, depending on the usage and the type of
water to be treated.

The use of different cartridges other than the Tecnoplas c type invalidates the warranty (the
cartridges in polyphosphates wear themselves out)
FILTER CARTRIDGES:

Reopen the system checking the absence of leaks
Ÿ
Screw the nut and ghten moderately with the tool*
Ÿ
Insert them into the filter head, making sure that the cartridge is properly aligned and ver cally
Ÿ
Make sure that the gasket is inserted in the edge of the glass
Ÿ
Insert the cartridge into the glass
Ÿ
Clean the filter using only cold water with non-abrasive sponge. Avoid cleaners or chemical solvents
Ÿ
Install the filter by checking the correct flow direc on according to the arrow shown in the upper part
of the filter. WARNING: In the presence of a hydraulic pump, install the filter, taking care to place it
before suc on (Fig.3), not a er the delivery. (Fig.4)

Insert the appropriate tool (Fig.10) underneath the filter wedging the teeth with the ring of the same
and turn counterclockwise to unscrew
CLEANING AND CARTRIDGE REPLACEMENT:

Isolate the filter from the water to prevent leakages

Place a bucket under the filter to contain the water will be overflow
