15.1
ATA Cleaning
Before starting any cleaning operation, be sure that:
1.
The AC Input Voltage for the ATA has been removed.
2.
The Battery voltage for ATA has been removed.
3.
The PV voltage for ATA has been removed.
4.
The ATA is completely OFF.
Use only a cloth dampened with water to clean the unit.
If ATA works in an environmental unusually dusty or dirty, remove the dirty from the ventilation holes.
Before restarting the ATA be sure it is completely dry. If any liquid gets inside the ATA, do not start the unit and
contact Technical Service immediately.
15.2
Battery
If the ATA is NOT going to be used for a long period of time, ensure that the batteries are left fully charged.
If the ATA has not been used for more than three months, go through the procedure described in the chapter “First
Start Up” before using it again.
Battery life strongly depends on the ambient temperature. There are also other factors like the number of charge-
discharge cycles, the discharge depth, humidity and altitude.
The recommended environmental specifications for a correct use of batteries are listed in battery producer data
sheet.
Danger of explosion and fire if batteries of the wrong type or number are used.
Do not dispose of batteries in a fire. The batteries may explode. Do not open or mutilate
batteries. Released electrolyte is harmful to the skin and eyes. It may be toxic.
15.3
Operator Safety
Whenever the ATA is not responding anymore to original characteristics, the ATA must be made non-operative and
every usage not authorised must be avoided. After it will be necessary to refer to qualified technical personnel.
Original safety characteristics might not be if, for example, the ATA has visible damage or irregular operation.
