Communication Interfaces
All related terminals are on the Communication Interface board (A1). Connector layout is as following:
8.1
RS232 Communication
DSUB-9 female connector with the following pin layout shall be used on the UPS side of the connection
cable.
Pin layout is given below:

RS232 cable shall be shielded and shorter than 15 m.
Only one of the RS232/RS422 communications can be activated at one time. The selection between
RS232 and RS422 communications can be done by setting the “COMM” parameter in “COMMANDS”
menu, as desired.

RS422 Communication
DSUB-9 male connector with the following pin layout shall be used on the UPS side of the connection
cable.
