– The tea maker has been switched on without water or an
accumulation of scale has triggered the over-heat cut-off
mechanism: allow the tea maker to cool down and fill it with water.
Descale first if scale has accumulated.
Switch it on: the tea maker should start working again after about
15 minutes.
IF YOUR TEA MAKER HAS BEEN DROPPED, IF IT LEAKS OR IF THERE IS
VISIBLE DAMAGE TO THE POWER CORD, THE PLUG OR THE BASE OF
THE TEA MAKER.
Return your tea maker to your After-Sales Service Centre, only they are
authorised to carry out repairs. Refer to the warranty conditions and list
of centres in the booklet supplied with your tea maker. The type and
serial number are shown on the bottom of your tea maker. This warranty
covers manufacturing defects and domestic use only. Any breakage or
damage resulting from failure to comply with the instructions for use is
not covered by the warranty.

The manufacturer reserves the right to modify the characteristics
or components of its tea makers at any time in the interests of the
consumer.

Stop using the tea maker. No attempt must be made to dismantle the
tea maker or its safety devices.

If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its after-sales service centre or a similarly qualified
person, in order to avoid any danger.
PREVENTION OF DOMESTIC ACCIDENTS
For a child, a burn or scald, even if slight, can sometimes be serious.
As they grow up, teach your children to beware of hot liquids found in
the kitchen. Position the tea maker and its supply cord well to the rear of
the work surface, out of the reach of children.
If
an accident does occur,
run cold water over the scald immediately
and call a doctor if necessary.

In order to prevent any accidents: do not carry your child or baby at
the same time as drinking or carrying a hot drink.
