Adjusting the values for the Cooking Assistant
Any of the settings selected for the recipe can
be changed while the food is cooking.
As you touch the sensor
, the different
symbols
LO, ME, HI, kg
and
ºC
will flash on
the temperature display. This is when you can
change your selection by turning the
temperature selector.
Important information about automatic cooking with recipes
• When you select a recipe and enter a
weight, the oven automatically calculates
the temperature and cooking time needed.
Cooking time star ts from a cold oven unless
pre-heating has been specifically indicated.
• It is therefore ver y impor tant to select the
correct food weight so that the ingredients
will be properly cooked.
• With roasting programmes, after a cer tain
time has passed the oven will advise you
that the joint of meat should be turned over.
When this moment arrives, the oven will
beep. If the food is not turned over, the
oven will continue with the recipe.
• When cooking recipes for roasts, remember
that meat with a thick outer layer of fat will
need increased cooking time.
• Cooking time should also be increased
when cooking several pieces of meat at the
same time.
• For bread, cakes and gratins, remember
that recipes are calculated for a weight of
500g of flour or 1 kg of raw potatoes or
vegetables.
• If you want to cook larger amounts, you will
need to reduce the temperature slightly and
increase cooking time by about 10 minutes
per extra kg.
• If you want to cook smaller amounts, this
should be done with a shor ter time and
higher temperature.
CAUTION
For Tin loaf (LO) and pizza base recipes, the
oven should be pre-heated first.
In this way
the oven will be at the ideal temperature for
the best results.
Touch the sensor
to confirm the change
or else wait a few moments.
IMPORTANT
The weight of the food can only be changed in
the first 10 minutes of cooking time. After that
it will no longer be possible.
