7.13 V-PORT
V-Port signals are provided as a dedicated video path to the display memory. It is intended
to support a source of live video incoming from an external video source.
The enhanced V-Port captures video off-screen buffers from which it is displayed with
resizing and color space conversion. Once initiated, capture and display occurs with a
minimum of processor intervention. The I
2
C serial interface provides a method of
controlling a video controller from the host, as well as DDC2B monitor interfacing.
SIGNAL PATH
V-Port signals are only available through the J3 CPCI I/O.
Video capture and scaling are also supported.
