Profile PRO Series
The labels in the dialog box are explained here:
To add a transport to the list of active transports:
1. In the tree pane, select the appropriate library icon.
2. Choose
Tape Transport Status
from the
File
menu, or from the shortcut
menu with a right-click. The Tape Transport Status dialog box appears.
3. Click the
Add
button. The Add Tape Transport dialog box appears, as shown
Transport Icon
A transport icon is shown for each active transport
in the library. The order of transports in this dialog
does not necessarily reflect the order they appear in
the library system.
Transport Number
This is the logical identifier for the transport. It is a
number from 0–255.
Robot Position
This is the physical transport identifier. It is a num-
ber from 0–3.
Cartridge Name
A cartridge name is shown if one is currently loaded
into the transport.
Disable
Removes a transport from service. Click Add to re-
enable the transport.
Clean
Loads a cleaning cartridge and cleans the transport
Cleaning Message
The message
Needs Cleaning
appears when the
transport is due for cleaning.
Add
Adds a transport to the list of available transports.
Close
Close the Tape Transport Status dialog.
Help
Opens the help topic on the Tape Transport Status
dialog.
