NOTE
Use only Telco Systems approved SFP transceivers (Ordered separately).
Approved SFP transceivers can be of the SM, MM and bi-directional LX, SX,
ZX variety.

Insert the SFP transceiver into the SFP cage.
Connecting the Power Cable to the Gateway Board
1.
Connect the GW-483S to 12VDC external power source rated: 12VDC @ 2A, to
the 12V input of the gateway board (see
CAUTION
For safety reasons, the GW-483S must be powered by an external NRTL listed
limited Class I powered source (AC/DC adapter).
NOTE
The maximum cable length from the power supply source to the GW-483S
cabinet should not exceed 15 meters, and should be rated at a minimum of 18
AWG.
This cable must be ordered separately using the part number shown in the
Accessories section.
Users may build their own cable by using the information provided in
2.
Remove the large black rubber grommet located at the bottom left side of
the cabinet (see
3.
Use a pencil point to punch a small hole in the center of the entrance circle.
4.
Feed the power cable through the newly punched grommet hole.
5.
Place the grommet back into its original position.
Connecting the Ethernet Cables to the Gateway Board
The user must connect the data communication cables to the LAN Port connectors on the gateway
board (see
