Enabling/Disabling Configuration via Telnet
To enable/disable Telnet configuration:
1. In the horizontal menu bar of the Security page, select
Telnet
. The Telnet Configuration
page appears (
2. To allow configuration via Telnet, select the
Telnet Enable
checkbox, and click
Save
Telnet Settings
to effect the change.
To prevent configuration via Telnet, be sure the
Telnet Enable
checkbox is not selected.
If so, deselect the checkbox and click
Save Telnet Settings
to effect the change.

Using Access Page to Enable User Mode
The User Mode option in the Security Page is provided to allow the administrator to limit user
access to menus and information.
To enable user mode:
1. In the horizontal menu bar of the Security page, select
Access
. The Access page appears
2. To configure the User Mode, check the
User Mode Enable
checkbox, and click
Save
