Sabotage logic
After the power supply unit has been connected
or once power is restored after a blackout, the
system will check the sabotage loop and will
switch to normal system operation where the
loop is in flawless condition. Hence, the device
will switch on automatically after a blackout.
Use the "reset" button to reset the device after
sabotage has been detected. Pressing the
"reset" button during normal system operation
will result in all interfaces being disconnected
while the button remains pressed. Letting go of
the button will reactivate the interfaces. Hence,
it is possible to reset the device hardware.
within the secure area of your Ethernet network.
In case of sabotage, this adapter will interrupt
power supply and network connections to the
device outside. In addition, the Secure Ethernet
Adapter will also interrupt the open door
function.
