9. Remove the hinges from the door and from the cabinet
frame, using an Phillips head screwdriver. Set the hard-
ware aside for reuse.
10. Remove the handle cover plate. The plate is secured
with two 1/4-20 keps nuts. Use a 7/16” socket wrench to
remove the nuts. Set the hardware aside for reuse.
11. Remove the door handle using a #2 Phillips head screw driver. Set the hardware aside
for reuse.
12. Remove the rod controller, rods, and rod guides. Note the orientation of the assembly before
you remove the hardware. This will be helpful later when you reinstall the assembly. Once
you have removed the handle and the rod guide hardware, as shown in the following figure,
the entire rod guide assembly comes free from the door.
