Using the speakerphone:

The “CONFERENCE” key allows the user to include two other parties in a three-way
phone conversation.  Typical conference calls would be:

a)  User initiates two calls
b)  User initiates one call after receiving a call
c)  User includes two callers

User initiates two calls:

1)

Place call to first party.

2)

Place the first party on hold by pressing the “HOLD” key.

3)

Place call to second party using the available, unused line. 

4)

Press the “CONFERENCE” key. The parties will be connected.

User initiates one call:

1)

Receive call from first party.

2)

Place caller on hold by pressing the “HOLD” key.

3)

Place call to second party using the available, unused line.

4)

Press the “CONFERENCE” key. The parties will be connected.

User includes two callers:

1)

Receive call from first party and place it on hold.

2)

Receive call from second party.

3)

Press the “CONFERENCE” key. The parties will be connected.

The “FLASH” key is dedicated to perform a timed hookflash.

There are three flash programming keys (recessed) to select different flash times

(100/300/600 ms.) See diagram inside front cover for more information.

1)

Press the “MUTE” key on base. The “MUTE” LED will illuminate, to indicate that 
mute is active.

2)

Press the “MUTE” key again to disable mute. The “MUTE” LED will turn off.

AUSE

Pause can be entered during off-hook manual dialing and chain dialing. This is a means of
allowing a complex number to be redialed. Pause has been inserted for the handset and the
base. Pause can be stored into the memory of hotel services direct access keys.

AGING

This key initiates a handset page. When paging is active, the handset will beep. The mes-
sage LED and the “ON” LED key on the handset will flash. To page:
1)

Press “PAGE” key on the base. The handset will beep. 

2)

The handset will stop beeping if answered, by pressing “ON” or “OFF” key on the 
handset, or by pressing the “PAGE” key on the base again.

Note:

The handset will not beep if the handset is in use. If the page is stopped by pressing

the “ON” or “OFF” key within 30 seconds of receipt of the page from the base, the hand-
set cannot receive another page immediately.

ONFIGURATION

When a voice message waiting signal is received, the message-waiting LEDs on both the
handset and base will blink. Both LEDs will turn off once the message has been retrieved.

To configure message waiting mode for 

Siemens system

:

1)

Press and hold “Line 1” key on base. Plug in the power supply socket; you will hear
two beeps.

2)

Release “Line 1” key; when you hear two beeps, the set is in Siemens MW mode.

To configure message waiting mode for 

non-Siemens systems

:

1)

Press and hold “Line 2” key on base. Plug in the power supply socket; you will hear
two beeps.

2)

Release “Line 2” key; when you hear two beeps, the set is in non-Siemens MW mode.
