Error Vector Magnitude
The error vector magnitude is the magnitude of the error vector, which is the difference between the
signal vector and the ideal reference vector. It is more convenient to represent the EVM as a percentage
such that it is unaffected by the average signal power (Equation 5). The numerical value displayed as
EVM in the software is the RMS of all the symbols captured during that acquisition.
