If or when you return to these wireless environments, you only have to connect to the
profile that you have previously configured (with the operation mode, WEP encryption,
IP configuration) and you are ready to work with this network. NOTE: If your PC has the
operating system Windows 98 first edition installed. It is necessary to configure the IP
parameters manually. For this, please consult the documentation of the operating
system.
To create a new profile:
Please consult section “5.- Monitor de Red Inalámbrica Configuration” in this user
manual. This section gives you the complete process in detail of how to create a new
profile.
To edit an existing profile:
Select the profile you wish to edit and press the button “Editar”. Here you can select all
the parameters that you wish to modify.
7. - TROUBLESHOOTING
7.1 Common
Problems
Following you will find a list of the most common problems that you may find when
you use the wireless USB Adapter. Before calling the customer service centre, please
look first to see if your symptoms are explained below.
Windows cannot detect the USB Adapter.
Cause: Connection or installation problems
Solution:

Make sure the USB Adapter is correctly connected to the USB port

Make sure the USB is activated in the BIOS of your PC.

If the installation was cancelled prematurely. It is possible that the device is not
activated, de-install and reinstall following step by step the process described in
this manual.
