Alert tones (Key tone, Low battery and No coverage)
You can turn on or
OFF
the alert tones of key press, battery low and out of range.
1. In standby mode, press
MENU/OK
then select
Audio
.

Key tone, low battery
or
No coverage.
3. Select
On
or
Off
.
4. Press
MENU/OK
to confirm.
Set date and time
If you have subscribed to Caller ID service, the date and time is set automatically for all handsets
when you receive your first call. The date and time is recorded with each answering machine
message you receive. If you have not subscribed to Caller ID service, you can set the date and
time manually.
Date format
1. In standby mode, press

3. Select date format

or
MM/DD/YY
.
4. Press

to save your choice.
Time format
1. In standby mode, press

24 - Hour

4. Press

to save.
Set date and time manually
1. In standby mode, press
MENU/OK
then select
Settings
.
2. Select
Set date/time.
3. Use the keypad to enter the date according to
DD-MM-YY
or
MM-DD-YY
format.
4. Press
MENU/OK
then use the keypad to enter the time according to
12-Hour
or
24-Hour
format.
5. Press
MENU/OK
to save the settings.
Auto answer
1. In standby mode, press
MENU/OK
then select
Settings
.
2. Select
Auto answer
.
3. Select
On or Off.
4. Press
MENU/OK
to confirm.
Note: As long as you have auto answer set to ON you can answer a call by lifting the handset
OFF
the base.
If you have switched auto answer
OFF
, you will need to press
HOME
when you lift up the handset.
The default setting of Auto Answer is ON.
