Fig. 16: DVB input check result
As shown in the image above, we can check the status of each input: whether it is enabled, whether it
is operating correctly, the signal level, and the processing required in each case.
The
FE (FrontEnd) had lock
parameter indicates whether the tuner has correctly tuned to the frequency,
in which case the value will be
True
.
In case an error was detected, it will be displayed on the screen and a problem solving process will
automatically be launched. This process will be announced by the message
Fixing
. Once this process
is over, the system will indicate whether it was successful or the problem persists.
In the previous
example, the last 3 inputs didn’t have any input signal connected and therefore the system indicates
that no frequency was tuned.
3.1.4 CAMs
This section allows access to the data provided by the CAMs included in the system. Only the CAMs
associated with a headend’s input that is enabled will be displayed.
Fig. 17: CAM’s section
Modifying the CAM password - by default identical to the password for the headend’s management tool
- is allowed. Each CAM may be individually restarted using the round arrow-shaped icon. Once the
desired CAM is selected, an interface will be displayed showing the actions that can me performed on
it.
