Fig. 30: Manually editing a service
The details of the parameters to be filled in in order to complete the process of adding a channel are
described below.
•
Enabled
(Enable): it is a check box to specify whether we wish for the channel to be active (trans-
mitting on multicast) or inactive (no transmission).
•
Name
(Corporate Name): the name we are going to use to uniquely identify a corporate channel.
•
IP address
(IP Address): unicast/multicast address to be used for transmission.
•
Port
: port on which the transmission is going to be taking place.
•
TTL
: maximum number of packet hops during transmission.
•
Pid video
: Id for the transmission of the video signal.
•
Pid audio
: Id for the transmission of the audio signal.
•
Pid spu
: Id for the transmission of subtitles.
•
Pid pmt
: Id for the PMT table.
•
Video
: a select in which the videos registered in the system may be added. Each corporate channel
has to include at least one video. The order in which videos are added is the order used to display
them.
Note:
Corporate channels are played in a loop; in other words, when the last video ends the first video
is played again
Note:
If a warning icon appears next to a corporate channel, it means the channel contains videos with
different codecs. This may cause playback problems in some players
Note:
The maximum number of corporate channels is limited based on the number of licenses pur-
chased and by the total bandwidth limit at the IP module output (500 Mbps)
