8.1. General configuration
In general configuration is set the mode of operation of the system.
ISDN
•
ISDN PTP/PTMP
: establishes the connection mode of the device at the T0 port of the PBX,
point-point or point-to-multipoint. If possible, is better to set the port in the point to point mode
(the device is always TEI 0)
PLANT/DISA
•
PBX digits len
: sets the number of digits of the extensions of the PBX. When the system
provides the DISA service to incoming calls, it represents the number of digits that the caller
must dial so the call can be transferred to an internal extension
•
Enable DISA
: enable or disable the DISA service to incoming calls
•
Call PO after
: indicates how many seconds after the incoming call should be transferred to the
PO if the caller does not select any digit
•
Radix number
: Some PBXs requires that the number of internal root is complete, for example to
call the 299 number needed to add to the number of internal root 261544299
MODULE CHOICE
•
The first one
: enabling this option, for outgoing calls, you always use the first module (first SIM)
and the second module is used if the first is busy
•
Select by LCR
: the module is chosen according to initial digits that make up the number (the
introduction is done by compiling digits on the table in the programming GSM modules). For
example, you may want that all numbers starting with 33 use the first module, all those that
begin with 34 use the second module
•
Alternate
: with this option, the choice of module is always a turn: if the previous call had been
used Module 1, now uses the Module 2, then 1 again and so on
•
Time Sharing
: in this mode, you can make, on average, the total duration of outgoing calls are
distributed in an equitable manner on both modules. Internally, the program takes into account
the duration of each call and always uses the module that was used for less time. It may be
useful if you use prepaid cards, so that it can not possible to run out of credit without a SIM have
almost never used another, or allows you to use the SIM in a balanced mode
•
Follow ISDN-BCH:
in this mode, if from the PBX arrives a call from the B-channel 1, DIAL-112
uses the GSM module 1, if the call comes from the B-channel 2, will use the GSM module 2.
Similarly happen to the incoming calls: if a call comes to the SIM Card in GSM module 1, DIAL-
112 will forward the call on the B-channel 1, if the call arrives to the SIM 2 will be forward on the
B-channel 2. Only obtainable if your PBX can manage this B-channel selection mode.
