10. REMOTE PROGRAMMING
You can remote program the device (other than the alarm) with a simple call, both from side ISDN
to side GSM ISDN.
10.1. Local programming (from a direct ISDN connection)
For this function should be able to reach the direct ISDN attack connected to DIAL-112 (to get
through without LCR). As soon as you hear the tone of a select call, dial # # # (3 pounds) and after
the tone of confirmation, type your password: default 1111, wait for the 1 second confirmation tone,
which is the entrance as programming password accepted.
The system responds with a number of different tones depending on the operation carried out in
order to facilitate the programming:

1 long tone : confirmation storing data or password accepted, the confirmation tone
•
1 short tone : confirms field selection
•
2 long tones : confirms the value selection
•
3 short tones : tracking error or confirmation of cancellation entries
The field to program and the value to be introduced can be selected by dialing from the keyboard
and then “#” (pound) to confirm or “*” (asterisk) to cancel the input.
For example by introducing 100 #, the system announces with 1 short tone (200 msec) the
successful selection of the field (point to point or point-to-multipoint).
Note: The number of the field to be introduced must be three digits. By introducing an
invalid number of field (or non-existent field composed of a number of different three-digit),
the system will respond with the three short tones reporting error.
It must therefore introduce the value of the field (in the example, "0" to set the point to point) and
let the system confirm the introduction emitting 2 short tone (200 msec).
At this point you can decide to confirm the value just introduced by pressing # and the system
announces the execution along with a tone (1 second) or cancel the introduction typing * (asterisk)
and the system announces the cancellation of 3 tones fast (200 msec).
If you want to clear a field, you should not introduce any value after the announcement of the
double short tone (200 msec) you have to press “#”: you get the tone long (1 second) for
confirmation.
At this point you can stop the program simply hang up or change other parameters with the same
procedure described above. The time given to the user to enter the field before DIAL-112 verify the
value is introduced to 3 seconds after a DTMF entered. If you reach a certain length of data
expected in the area in question, this time is canceled in order to speed up the programming itself.
For example, if the parameter is 1 digit long, DIAL-112 verify the value introduced after receiving a
single digit DTMF, if the parameter is 3 digits long and you will enter only 2 DIAL-112 will confirm
the release after 3 seconds entering the second by the user. Inserting 3 digits DIAL-112 will
confirm the release immediately after receipt of the third digit to warn that the area is full speed and
the same programming parameters will be introduced as valid. During the programming, the call
service is not available.
Note: if you do not enter any value for at least 30 seconds, the unit automatically abandon the way
of programming.
