To Reset The Unit
Tip-Over Switch
This heater is designed to automatically shut-off when tipped forward or
backward. When returned to the proper upright position, the heater will
resume normal operation. This is a safety feature to avoid possibility of fire
should the unit be accidentally knocked over.
Overheat Auto Shut-off
When a potential over heat temperature is reached, the system will
automatically shuts the heater off. Make sure heater is clear of all obstruc-
tions and resets properly. Operation can only resume after reset.
If heater shuts down:
1) Turn power knob to OFF position, unplug the heater.
2) Wait 30 minutes or until completely cooled down.
3) Plug back in and operate normally.
WARNING: ALWAYS UNPLUG THE CORD BEFORE MOVING OR SERVICING.
DO NOT IMMERSE HEATER IN WATER!
WARNING: In case of malfunction, do not try to repair the heater yourself. It may
result in a fire hazard or electric shock.
CLEANING: Clean the heater grills with the vacuum brush attachment on your
vacuum cleaner. This will remove lint and dirt from the inside of the heater. DO
NOT ATTEMPT TO TAKE HEATER APART. Clean the body of heater with a soft
cloth.
CAUTION: Do not use gasoline, benzene, thinner, harsh cleaners, etc. as they
will damage the heater. NEVER USE ALCOHOL OR SOLVENTS.
STORAGE: Return carton for storage of heater, wrap and tie cord to avoid
damage when store.
Maintenance
