Measuring DC Voltage
•
Insert the red test lead into the V terminal and the black test lead into COM.
•
Set the rotary selector to
.
•
Connect the test leads across the object to be measured in parallel and the value
will be displayed.
Notes:
•
If the voltage to be measured is unknown, choose the maximum measuring range
and reduce it step by step until a satisfactory reading is obtained.
•
Do not attempt to measure higher than 600V or the meter may be damaged and
there may be a risk of electric shock.
•
Disconnect from the circuit under test when changing the range.
•
If the display only shows “1”, it indicates the measured voltage is out of range. In
this case, turn the range selector to a higher range.
Measuring AC Voltage
•
Insert the red test lead into the V terminal and the black test lead into COM.
•
Set the rotary selector to
.
•
Connect the test leads across the object to be measured in parallel and the value
will be displayed.

Measuring DC Current
•
Insert the red test lead into the mA terminal and the black test lead into COM.
•
If the current is between 200mA and 10A insert the red test lead into the 10A
terminal.
•
Set the rotary selector to
A
.
•
Connect the test leads across the object to be measured in series and the value
will be displayed.
Measuring AC Current
•

•
Connect the test leads across the object to be measured in series and the value
will be displayed.
Notes
•
When current measurement has been completed, disconnect the connection
between the testing leads and the circuit under test, and remove the testing leads
away from the input terminals of the Meter.
